A new DVR with a never-before-seen feature doesn't come around every day, and if it's the sort of amenity that works in every room of the house, without compromise, then we just have to review it. The Hopper is one great piece of technology; it is no wonder that Engadget likes the receiver. I haven’t had many problems with my Hopper and what bugs I have noticed have been corrected in a timely matter. The last update even doubled the hard drive space up to 500 hours of HD recording time, and added Pandora music streaming to the apps. Working at Dish I can see where that would come in handy, people usually tend to like it when they can do things or see things very easily. The best feature on the Hopper so far for me is the Primetime Anytime option, it automatically records the primetime block from the big four networks every night in HD. Since I don’t have to schedule as many DVR timers now, I don’t run into conflicts and pull my hair out. In turn, my wife likes my fuller head of hair.
উত্তরমুছুনThis was a great review by Engadget as always, thank you for the link. I do agree with you Shaun doubling the space of the personal recording time is a great addition. It is also nice to know I can record twice as many programs now. Still, my favorite feature since I have gotten my Hopper hooked up is the Primetime Anytime feature. You cannot beat having every primetime show from the big four networks available to you for 8 days after airing. It has gotten better now with the advent of the Auto Hop feature. This feature comes in very handy for me because when I get home after my night shift at Dish I do not have to sit through commercials because the Auto hop feature will automatically skip over them by answering one question at the beginning of the shows playback.
