I have a fishing buddy who goes on the Pollett river run here in New Brunswick every year. I believe it's a family thing and he goes with his dad and uncles. I've heard some funny stories and it makes me wonder how every one manages to survive the run. Maybe it has something to do with the beverages they consume along the way to keep warm.
This year's run is the weekend of April 28, 2012. Man it comes around so fast.

That was just the water run, now check out the trucks in the mud run. At the end there is even a mud bogging beer walk.
Would love to have a vehicle to get there but maybe in 2013, for now I'll just enjoy hearing about it and watching the new videos as they come online.
